I'm glad you asked that question because I get the exact same error message
when I use Win 2000 and open games. I thought maybe it had to do with older 16
bit games running on a newer 32 bit NT based system. Maybe they were not
totally compatible with NT, but of course that's just a guess. At any rate,
whatever the cause, I wouldn't mind knowing the answer.
