I have Vista Ultimate on my laptop all the updates were installed successfully. Also on the business edition of Vista was successful too. I had one update much earlier a couple of months ago it was the sound Realtek AC97 audio that failed but it was still working - about 4 weeks after I got a windows solution message I checked it out and it brought me to that website I downloaded the new update it went through .I noticed in windows 7 there was a big update also. I am a person like Inge that likes to have everything working or the else- Or it just drives me nuts. I did the download from MU same time as Inge I am nursing a bad steam burn on my injured arm(I have no feeling in that arm) I ended up with blood poisoning and infection so I couldn't put in my 2 cents in until now . You all have a great day. However since windows update recognizes it as being fixed I would Believe that to be a safe assumption. Cy Hi Cy Late last night Microsoft downloaded this update Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Security Update for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2 (KB953297) It installed just fine. I think that everything is okay now.
