Dear Customer,
In response to requests from Valor customers (CEM's and OEM's), we have=20
produced a Data Exchange manual that details how ODB++ files are
generated=20
from specific PCB CAD design tools or, if direct ODB++ output is not=20
available, how and what files should be extracted from the PCB CAD tool
and=20
supplied to manufacturing.
This manual is intended for users of PCB CAD design systems that are=20
responsible for preparing and submitting designs to manufacturing
departments=20
(either 'in-house' or sub-contract) that use Valor software tools.=20
Therefore please feel free to distribute this document within your
organization=20
or to your customers.
This document will also be part of the documentation set of
Trilogy/Enterprise=20
version 7.1 release (Doc 0312)
The document describes the output process for:
Cadence: Allegro; Orcad
Mentor: Board Station; PowerPCB; Expedition
Zuken: Visula; Cadstar; Board Designer (CR5000); PWS (CR3000)
Altium: P-CAD; Protel
