Good morning Telescope Team,
We have an event for which I can not attend. I need to know if anyone wants
to take over the event after I get it intially set up. I will be out of
town Feb 9 - 19, and this event falls within those dates. I will also have
NO computer with me. I can access my email from my phone but that doesn't
help me do anything quickly, as you know, phone texting in email is rough,
and time consuming and i plan to not do anything during my vacation. So,
without a computer to work from, i want to get all events set up so that
those of you wanting to be RSVP for the events, take over for me while I'm
gone.
Now if no one wants to do the solar/lunar event at Bookmans on Feb 11, i
can cancel it. I'd rather cancel now then wait until closer to the date, if
that is the decision.
But if you want to do it, then I need someone to volunteer as RSVP and once
i get it all set up and the head count/scope count to Katy, we can do the
event.
Let me know what you want to do. I"m good either way. And no, the Sun /
Moon combo can't be moved to another date in Feb. I chose all the possible
Sun /Moon observing dates for 2018 and Feb only has the one.
It's either do it or cancel it.
Plus Mike is very needed at this event.
And i'd suggest a minimum of 2 scopes, one on the
Sun and one on the Moon.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
All the rest of the events on the site, have RSVP's picked, or will, by the
time i leave.
And those who are the RSVP, please send a review and any photos you take,
to me for the newsletter. Would love to read how the events went... Be sure
to list all PAS attendees in your review, as i use that info for the Awards
Ceremony.
