DBG wants 4 scopes on Apr 28
(if I am one of the scopes, the BM event may be cancelled for that day) from
9pm to 11pm.
If i recall correctly, and I'm waiting for confirmation on this,
we had to set up 4 hours prior, so that dinner could be had
and then they look through the scopes.
So set up may be 6pm, for a 7pm dinner, and then 9-11 observing session. If
this is a prob, do not sign up to do this event.
However, i don't have those details yet, so eveyrone sign up if you are
interested in doing this.
This may go on the rotation list, as i think we charged over $100 / scope last
time to do this, and i'm going with the newer rate, if it is more than last
time's rate. I haven't quoted a price yet.
So, what i know so far.
4 scopes for Apr 28
Happy 2018! I’m wondering if PAS would be available to have scopes at our
annual gala, Dinner on the Desert. It’s our fancy event so everyone would need
to be a little more dressed up than for Lumi (but it’s going to be a lot warmer
than Lumi so that’s a plus). We would want 4 scopes from 9pm-11pm. It would
probably be in Ottosen Entry Garden so there would be lot of light bleed and it
could be that it’s mostly moongazing. Looking forward to talking to you about
this.
That's all I know, but i sent the info to the contact with the questions I put
in this email.
Oh, and this is top notch dress code, meaning all black, head to toe, and with
name badges - i will confirm the name badges. Last time they didn't want name
badges, so go with the idea you HAVE TO HAVE name badges, but if that changes i
will let you know.
Here's the link to sign up.
I'm getting more details. Sign up today,
this will help me figure out the situation.
If the price we charge is not over $100, the
order you sign up will be the order you get the event.
