On behalf of PAS, I wish to thank Jenny and her honor astronomy students for
hosting a great star party last night at PVCC BMC. Her students provided PAS
members with food and drink and showed enthusiasm looking at the night sky. The
weather was delightful and there were about 100 people who looked through our
telescopes. I also wish to thank all our PAS members for showing up with their
8 scopes and providing interesting information to the public. Ted, Howard,
Pete, Ray, Tom, Mike C. , Mark, George Z, Paul F, Ron W., and Mike M did a
great job and arrived early and stayed late which was much appreciated by the
public who couldn't get enough of the heavenly show.
