Good morning PAS Members, and Jenny, I asked Jenny about the set up of the star party for Mar 22, tomorrow, at PVCC Main Campus and her reply was: Hi Terri, I have been talking to security and we will not be able to use the overflow parking lot for this event :( My class officially ends at 7pm, but I will see if we can get done a little early and encourage the students to stay. I am looking forward to a great event! Jenny ---------- Here is the plan: Telescopes set up around the Telescope Dome again like last star party at PVCC Main Campus. Pull in like you did last time, drop off your scope, then go park in the over flow lot. For the Teleconference, that is the second part Jenny replied to, above. The teleconference starts at 7pm. Those wanting to see it before they set up their scopes, meet in G-147 and we will try to be ready by 7pm to present it. As soon as it ends, or you lose interest, if you are doing the star party part of this event, feel free to go out and be the star party, anytime. We have 4 or was it 5 people attending this event for Telescope workshop. I need Telescope Teachers! See the Forum thread to find out what type of scope they are bringing. I believe I have everyone listed, but just in case more RSVP, check the list before you head out to PVCC Tomorrow. I will be there with handouts and to help indoors. If anyone needs a little extra muscle, let me know and I"ll send my hubby out to assist you. Remember, if you don't want to bring your scope, use the scopes PVCC has, 6" dobs, but i do suggest you bring your own eyepieces. Let Jenny know if you want to borrow a PVCC scope. You can do that by replying to this email. All help is appreciated. I expect a crowd tonight due to the number of RSVP's we already have. I've invited a slew of people. Please have a super Wednesday! I will see you all tomorrow. Terri, Event Coordinator Discuss this event right here in the PAS List Serv. Also, weather updates are requested and appreciated. Good friends are like stars.
