Please remember, Aug 11 is the Peak Date.
Meteor showers can be enjoyed from a week before to a week after the Peak
Date.
And best time to enjoy is Midnight into the morning hours.

August 11th from 10 pm until midnight, enjoy the Persieds meteor shower.
Up to 100 per hour if you are in a dark area. They seem to come out of the
NE but can be found anywhere in the sky. The moon will rise around midnight
washing out most of the meteors after that.
Enjoy one of the top meteor showers of the year. The Geminids in mid
December is another spectacular one. All you need is a lawn chair, no
