I’ll get you ones on the Moon too!
The RI2 does quite a lot!

Subject: [pasmembers] Re: Revolution R2 Image for the moon
Hi Pete & Sam & Everyone,
I’ve moved on to other cameras with EAA. But!!!...
In agreement with Sam, I have a Revolution Imager 2 and used it extensively
with its USB image capture device, and SharpCap. I have captured a bunch of
DSOs using the method in real time, but never the moon. You can’t image
planets realtime, but I suspect the moon will be fine.
I’ll try to test in the next couple of days to make sure the moon works!
All that said, SharpCap with the RI2 is a great way to go!
The enclosed pics were all taken with RI2 and SharpCap. These were not
‘post-processed’ in any way. I simply used the ’Saved Exactly as Seen’ in
SharpCap. Apologies to any true AP peeps in this group, who will NOT be
impressed, but well, it’s ‘real’…time anyway.
Hope this helps.
Diane

Hi Sam,
I want the PC to display the moon’s image in real time – not use the PC as a
data capture device. I got a message back from the company right after your
email that says I can use Sharp Cap to do this. I’ve asked them what connects
the Revolution Imager and the PC. Hopefully it’s the USB video capture
device as I have that also.

Pete, my R2 imager came with the USB video capture device.
Attached is an image I took with the R2 and transferred it to my laptop. I
don't know why there is so much chromatic aberration since I used my 8 inch
newtonian reflector which never has that problem when I visually observe the
moon. Sam Insana
