The following message was sent by Kenn Evans, Park Ranger at Homolovi State
Park to PAS informing PAS about the public star parties they give. The park
provides the astronomers and scopes for the star parties. They are not
recruiting us only informing us about their public star parties. It does
sound like they are recruiting presenters and presentations.

“I would like to invite your group to join us for our star parties at
Homolovi State Park in our new (under construction) Winslow Homolovi
Observatory. We have star parties the first Saturday each month January -
November and our alternate dates for bad weather is the second Saturday. If
any of your members would like to do a presentation, or be our guest
speaker, we can accommodate their camping if staying overnight. Thanks and
Merry Christmas.
