Good morning PAS Members,
Thank you Sam for the wonderful weather forecast for tomorrow night's observing
event at Mike's and the plans.
If you plan to attend, and because I'm working on the parking for this event,
please be sure to RSVP and
mention if you are bringing a telescope. We'd love to have you and your
immediate family members
join the fun.
It will be an awesome Potluck, ice cream, star party for PAS members. Come join
the fun.
We hope to see you there!
Here's the link to drop your RSVP or if you prefer, you can reply to this
email.
We are also looking to create a potluck with no duplicates, and cover most food
groups...
If you know what you are bringing to the potluck, please mention it below or in
your RSVP here:

William & Terri are bringing a big bowl of salad
Mike has left over pulled BBQ Chicken and buns to put it on, from this past
weekend's potluck.
Bring a food and drink to share, let's make it a super party.
Also, we always have ice cream and Popsicles for this event. If you are
attending, bring
a box of popsicles, drumsticks, a tub of ice cream to share. We would love the
variety.
See you there!

The following are averages of 6 weather forecasts for Tuesday night at Mike's
house in Carefree:
3% clouds 10 mph winds 0% rain
It should be a beautiful night for deep sky and planetary viewing. The 75% moon
doesn't come up until after 11:30 pm. Mars will be about 3 weeks before
opposition, and Saturn will be about 1 week past opposition. Venus and Jupiter
should also look good.
With monsoons predicted to start in the Valley within a few days to a week
after July 3rd, this may be the last time to do great viewing for a couple of
months.
Come on out with your scopes and enjoy a fine night. Potluck starts at 6 pm.
Mike will probably have a sci fi movie to show around 7 pm. Private telescope
viewing for PAS members starts around 9 pm when it gets real dark.
Take care, Sam
