Sorry to hear that, Sam. Definitely rest up.
Additionally, both ClearSky and Astrosheric are showing seeing as 1/5 which
means that stars will look like big fuzballs and Jupiter will just be a
wavering blob….
I would say cancel.

Subject: [pasmembers] PAS Weather at BMC tomight and other star parties
8 different weather forecasts average 20 mph winds for tonight. Some blowing
dust. No cloud or rain problems. I would not recommend hurting your scopes
mirrors and lenses. The winds may calm down enough by 9 pm, but hardly worth
the long drive for a possible 30 min star party.
I have bronchitis and am on antibiotics so I willl not risk going out there
infecting people or perhaps getting pneumonia. Terri and Loretta should make
the call.
Next few days. No cloud or rain problems for Friday and Saturday night star
parties. Winds 12 mph Wickenburg, 13 mph North Phx, 5 mph Tonto National
Monument. I didn't check Mesa since we have no scope volunteers.
I would appreciate it if someone else can update their weather for the next few
days. I am trying to rest as much as I can. Thanks, Sam
