A few days ago, while Mike was in Lowell, Michigan, visiting his Mom and Dad,
Mike's father, James Matthew Marron passed away at age 87. The Celebration of
life will be Saturday, April 7th, 3 pm to 6 pm, at the Lowell Arts Gallery 223
W Main St , Lowell, MI 49331
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Grand Rapids Amateur
Astronomical Association, of which James was a Past President. James and Mike
helped build and operate an Observatory in Lowell, Michigan.
I think PAS should make a donation for our club. We can discuss this at the
upcoming PAS meeting April 5th. I also have a sympathy card which I will pass
around at the meeting to have PAS members sign. We can then give it to Mike
when he returns from Michigan after April 10th.
