Good morning PAS Members,
Leprecon is coming up sooner than you think and we need volunteers to do
this event.
Embassy Suites Phoenix: 2577 W Greenway Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85023
Here's how it works. I need to know who is attending to help any of the
days and times I have set up for this event, so that I can get you day
passes to be at the event for free. This is a Trading event. Meaning, we
trade providing telescopes for an evening viewing session, for a day pass
to enjoy the event.
If you are bringing anyone extra to this event to help out, I need to know
so i can get them a day pass too. Example: Rick and Tree, Mike and Ofelia,
etc. Helpers have to help. No getting a day pass without helping in some
fashion.
I have broken down this event into several time frames to make it easier
for those who can attend to let me know what their availability is. You
don't have to stay for a whole shift and any help, with or without a
telescope is appreciated.
There are 3 shifts:
10am to 2:30pm with 9am set up
2:30pm to 7pm with dinner break & moving of the PAS Handout table at
6pm on Fri and Sat
7pm to 10pm with set up at 6pm
Please remember, it helps me if you go to each link and for each one you
Can NOT attend, mark your RSVP as NO, especially if you would normally
provide a telescope at this type of event.
*Thursday June 23* from *7pm to 10pm* is a star party. Set up is 6pm.

We have NO Scopes for this event. We should provide at least 1 scope.
Since William has to work the next day, he will most likely not have his
telescope for this event.
*Friday June 24* from *10am to 2:30pm* is an indoor table to promote PAS.
Set up for this time frame is 9am.

Although scopes are not needed at this time, the idea is to share the
promoting of PAS at this table, while others in our team are attending
events and activities at this convention. Help is needed. I may bring the
Astro Scan to have on display to draw people to our table. That means we'd
want someone at the table at all times.

I will be here without William, until about 4pm when I hope William will
bring dinner and come assist.
Also, set up for the Star Party is 6pm, so from 6-7 we will break for
dinner and set up for evening portion of this event outdoors. Help is
needed to move stuff from indoors to outdoors.

Please RSVP your attendance soon. I haven't set a deadline to get this info
to my contact at Leprecon, yet, so sign up today if you can help out.
Include your arrival time and leaving time, unless you are staying for the
whole shift as described in this email... example: arriving 6pm for set up
and 7pm to 10pm for star party. No need to RSVP separate times if that is
your goal for that shift.
Let's make this a great event for all by helping each other get to the
activities they want to attend, in trade for helping at the PAS table, or
