As I suggested before everyone bring an astronomy poster. We can then decorate
the room.
I also suggest 20 minutes be set aside where members can speak for 1 to 2
minutes each about what they like most about PAS membership.

Good day to everyone and a super Happy Easter Weekend!!!
I'm starting the planning and working on the Awards Ceremony / Member
Appreciation Night.
I'd like some input.
Let me give you a brief on the plans so far, and then I'd love to hear from
eveyrone as to what you would like to see at this event....
So, for a couple years now, PAS has been hosting, meaning providing the pizza
for dinner for this event, the Awards Ceremony and then last year, we did a
Member Appreciation Night.... We hold this for PAS Members and their immediate
family members ONLY. The location and all the details you need to know are in
the Private Calendar listing for this event. RSVP IS REQUIRED to attend so I
have a head count for ordering enough pizza for everyone.

At the moment, here are the plans...
They probably will not happen in this order...
* NSN pins for everyone who is a current 2018 PAS Member, who did 6+ public
outreach events in 2017
* plus A certificate for each of those winners (I will need someone to print
the certificates in color, please).
* The past 2 years, we have had a Member of PAS be Appreciated with photos, and
a plaque or certificate. I would like to do that again this year. So watch for
the voting of who will win this year's Member Appreciation.
* The Awarding of the Trophy for the Dart Game at the PAS Social of 2018.
* Pizza is provided by PAS. If you do not want pizza, bring your own food and
have dinner with us.
* Bottled water is being provided by Bruce Wurst. if you don't want water,
bring your own drink.
Let me know what else you would like to have at this party. Thanks.
