PAS Members,
PAS has 3 events on Oct 26 and Oct 27...
I need to know who is attending these events because my contact for the
Japanese Garden star party wants to pin down that PAS is attending and
advertise to her patrons that we will be there those nights. So, i need to
know we have a minimum of 1 telescopes and possibly 1 presenter, although
the presenter isn't a requirement for this event. I do wish to have a
presenter help out at the event so that if there is a crowd at the
telescope, the presenter can draw attention away from the scope until the
scope gets through all the people in line.
Here are the events, the current RSVP's as of 8/31 about 2:30pm, and what
we need for the events.... I've provided links so you can easily RSVP your

Both of these events only have the requirement that you be a PAS member.
You don't have to be a member of any SIG within PAS. So, sign up to be
there, today.
The Japanese Garden Star Party for last year, traded our time at the event
for drinks during the evening we are there, and then free access to Haru in
the Garden which took place in March - i think it was. So, if you are
planning to attend Haru, I'm negotiating free access to a future event at
the Jap Garden, in exchange for volunteering at the October events.
I need to know who is attending which events so i know what PAS is doing as
far as the Japanese Garden event and i can inform my contact at this event.
The other thing is, Mike wants to hold the Halloween party but if no one is
planning to attend the party, he can do the Jap Garden event with William
and Me. So, this is your chance to make the Halloween party happen or be
cancelled.

William & I will do the Jap Garden event with or without help. But if no
one helps out this year, we might not do it next year. The reason i'm
committing to it now is that i already told the contact PAS would be there,
i just couldn't give her a head count of how many PAS Members are attending
this time.
This was a super fun event. Where PAS was set up for the Jap Garden star
party was with a front row seat to see the shows. We were in better seats
than most of the attending audience. There are many music and dance acts
through the night. We got to see them all!!! Come share that experience
with us.
