Next Wed night, Dec 13th, the best meteor shower of the year takes place. Up to
120 per hour at its peak. Sign up on our PAS private calendar if you want to
observe with PAS members in Carefree. No moon problems and so far the weather
predictions show no clouds, wind or rain. Bring a lounge chair to sit back and
enjoy. It should be cool out so bring a blanket or jacket. If you want to bring
a scope for dark sky observing, feel free to do so. Not necessary for the
meteors but your choice since it will be dark skies. Try to get there at 7 pm
so we can order pizza. Bring your own drinks. Hot chocolate and hot apple cider
are great late at night. So far we have Mike, Paul, Don, Pete and Sam. There is
