Here is Ron's April email about his upcoming planetarium shows.

to be added. I will continue to send out these emails with the data, but
sometimes, i don't get the data until the day before the first show, so it
is best if you are on the email list from Ron so you get the info right

Here's his April planetarium show schedule....
It is said that April Showers bring May Flowers but this year it doesn't
look like much water will fall from the skies. In Arizona it's more like
Winter/Spring rains bring May Weeds but who knows. Not much rain at all
this year but I still see some of the weeds poking up through the ground.
Hopefully they won't be as bad as last year as I'm still cutting them down.
Spring is also the time of the Messier marathon, a time when amateur
astronomers stay up all night to try and see all 110 of the Messier
objects. The best I ever did was around 105 as I remember. Also April
brings forth tax time so not really the time to generate new programs.
There are some new things coming in the next few months so be prepared.
Jim Renn of the Vatican Observatory Foundation has a program, " THE VATICAN
OBSERVATORY AND BIG BANG COSMOLOGY" which should present in May will
certainly be interesting as Jim's programs are always fun. Also, some new
laser programs are in the making for those of you that enjoy them.
But before I get back to taxes and other less interesting subjects, here is
the list of show offerings:
On* Saturday April 7th* we continue the "movie" marathon with The Bell
Science Series sixth program "Gateway To The Mind" *at 1 pm followed at 3
pm *with the fifth in the original Cosmos series "Blues For A Red Planet".
In honor of Messier (and for those of you that don't really want to spend
all night out looking for faint fuzzes) we will present on *Saturday April
14th at both 1 and 3 pm* "Galaxies, Nebula, and Star Clusters, OH MY!" a
look as some of the things that can be seen with the naked eye and what
they look like through a telescope.
On *Saturday April 28th at 1 and 3 pm as well as Sunday April 29th at Noon *we
will present the ever popular "Introduction to the Planetarium and the
night sky"
That's all for this month. Remember, summer only really lasts for four
months and then back to out beautiful weather.
For those that have asked, Katie's second book in her "OtherWorlds" trilogy
"The Found" is getting very close. Final revisions are in and it is now
off to the printer.

of
seats required.
If you need directions, tell me approximately where you are starting from,
I will
send detailed driving directions.

their immediate family members, and invited guests. Parking is limited. If
you bring a bunch of family and friends, please try to carpool.
Remember, no bathroom facilities and a planetarium show can be 1 hour to
1.5 hours in length. And please read the forum thread and calendar listings
for these shows before attending so you know what to expect.
