ooOPS, THAT SENT before i was ready to send it.
Here's the email received today:
I just read in the paper that July was cooler then last year. You could
have fooled me. Perhaps getting older has let the heat affect me more then
it used to. Perhaps I could hibernate through the summer and come out
later in say October. But looking outside today it is overcast and only 85
degrees at 10:30 in the morning. I see a rainy period forecast for the
first week this month. This helps keep the temperature down but doesn't do
much for viewing things astronomical. But in the planetarium all thing are
clear no matter how cloudy they might be outside. I remember a show last
year when hail came down so fast and heavy that the sound literally drowned
me out. I'm sure there were those that were grateful but all viewing the
show were treated to cool and clear skies.
That said, here are the shows for August:
Saturday, August 13th at 3 pm "Intro show and what's in the sky tonight".
Saturday, August 20th at 3 pm "Dark Side Of The Moon laser show".
Saturday, August 27th at 3 pm "Our Place In Space".
As usual, please RSVP with number of seats required, date, time, of show
requested. Please also remember that "The Star Barn" is a "primitive"
facility without bathroom facilities. Please plan accordingly.
Also if you no longer wish to receive these updates, just return an email
with "delete" in the subject line and you will be banished forever.
Also if you reserve seats for a show and can't make it, please cancel by
the day before. It is no fun setting up for a show and then having no one
come.

Ron asked me to make his Planetarium shows private, again. He had a
situation over the last month where he didn't feel safe with having the
public at his home, so Planetariums shows are for PAS Members and their
immediate families. If you wish to invite a friend, be sure you do the RSVP
and that you attend with them. So, bring a friend you trust, but don't
invite and send them to the show by themselves. This is a request from Ron.
Here's the August line up of shows and the email from Ron about the
events. Put them on your calendar, then RSVP like usual, and please
remember, THERE ARE NO BATHROOM FACILITIES
