RISC OS 5 just uses Sprites not Sprites22

No. Resources is in ROM.

No we do not make many changes to the OS or the disc image, only those
necessary for our hardware.

I've just checked and Icon's for filetype 1AD (mp3) are not any standard
version of RISC OS ROM or Hard Drive image.

It is up to any application that uses mp3 files to provide an icon.

If you want to suggest to ROOL that it should be in ROM then please do so.

There is an entry for 1ad/mp3 in most? MimeMaps.

n.b. AMPlayer has it in its sprites but I can't find it in CDBurn or CDVDBurn.
