Greetings Pack 163, We are fast approaching our River Rats trip to Camp
Long lake on June 5-7th. With that, there are several things we need to
accomplish for those attending:
* Health Forms A&B for each person attending ( insurance card info required )

* Pack Health&Safety Volunteers- If anyone has any kind of training that would
be preferred but someone with a first aid kit will do. see attachment for
details.
* Prepare a Skit,Song or Cheer for Saturday night when the Packs get
together.Also,each time we eat at the Great Hall the scouts need a cheer to get
in first. Working on a cheer in a Den meeting would be great!
* Pay any remaining balance on River Rats dues.
* All Adults please read the Bouldering Wall Rules as we will be responsible
for running this event. We will be split into 7 groups so an Adult(s)from our
Pack will always be there supervising/spotting. We are also responsible for a
Field Game at the bouldering wall area. I would love some ideas from the Pack
on what game we should do.
At Long lake we have campsite "Shady Oaks South" this is where we set up.No
cars are allowed on the campsite so bring what you want to carry or wagon.
Arrive no earlier then 5pm and no later then 7:30pm Friday 6/5. I will be there
at 5pm to assist others. At 8pm all Packs gather in the Great Hall to register
and hand in Health forms. Saturday we will be split into 7 groups and join with
other Packs for a round robin of activities. Sunday morning we are responsible
for cleaning Boes Reception Center bathroom.
Attached is a file with a camp map,bouldering wall rules,Health&Safety
Volunteer sign-up,supplies check list and a sample schedule of activities.Last
years example attachment,pay no attention to old dates.
I will have the Health&Safety sign-up,Health Forms A&B and available to answer
any questions at tomorrows Pack Meeting. You can also e-mail me any time.
