There is a lot of information you need to know. This is our only fund raiser for the year, so we need to follow the Cub Scout Motto and "Do Your Best!" The pack portion of the money raised pays for all the awards, pinewood derby cars, special events, and reducing the cost of activities and campouts for the scouts. Each den also receives money from the pack to offset the cost of den activity and supplies. The more money we raise, we can use to lower event fees, and have more events! First day you can start selling: Saturday, September 22nd. Popcorn and forms pickup at the Landquist's house: Sunday, September 23rd. (623 Elk LN) If you cannot make this date, you must contact me to arrange a different time! Last day you can sell: Saturday, October 20th. All money and sheets due: Sunday, October 21st. Pickup of Coffee, Wreaths and any remaining Popcorn: Sunday, November 18th. All checks must be made out to: Pack 163 ** Scouts MUST wear their uniform while selling AND MUST be accompanied by an adult **I will have extra popcorn, and can order more at any time, so if you need more let me know! The goal for each scout is to sell at least $250 worth of product (popcorn, wreaths, coffee) . Each scout that meets or exceeds the goal will have his registration fee for 2013 covered. . If a scout does sell product, but does not meet the goal, his registration fee for 2013 will be prorated. . Any scout that does not sell product will need to pay the 2013 registration fee at the December Pack meeting. . The registration fee for 2013 is $100. . Any cash donations you receive will be counted in your product sales total! For every $50 of product sold over $250, each scout will earn $10 for his "Scout Account" Example 1: Sold $300 of product = Registration fee covered and $10 in your Scout Account Example 2: Sold $750 of product = Registration fee covered and $100 in your Scout Account **Scout Account money can be used for any Cub Scout activity, including campouts, Pack and Den activities. Pie in the Leader's Face (December pack meeting): If you meet the $250 goal, you get to throw a whipped cream pie in the face of the leader of your choice, AND for every $50 sold over the $250 you get to throw another pie! We are participating in the Council sponsored Prize program. You will get a sheet of the prizes and sales levels when you pick up your popcorn. Make sure you write your prize choice(s) on the popcorn order form before turning it in. Important Note: Prizes are based only on the Popcorn sales. (It does not include sale of coffee or wreaths) Here is a list of the other incentives you could earn: . The scout with the highest sales (all products combined) in the pack will receive a custom embroidered hat .
