Subject: [pa64] spoiler alert: "Devotion" movie
Saw this yesterday. It is about PA grad Thomas Hudner and his Navy aviator
colleague Jesse Brown. The incident where Brown crashed in Korea and Hudner
purposely crash landed his own plane to rescue him is well-known PA lore,
particularly due to the Medal of Honor awarded to Hudner. The movie started out
with promise of yet another white-bashing racism piece, but it turned into a
really good, moving tale. You could do worse than to see it.
