Saw this last night. the OB&C thought it was great, I thought it was mediocre
at best. Juvenile plot, juvenile dialog (but with a few good lines suitable for
a quick laugh on a mindless TV sitcom). If you can stomach aging stars giving
great performances despite stupid lines and awful directing and editing, this
bud's for you. Ellen Burstyn (looking great), James Caan (severe scoliosis
showing), Ann-Margret (still great looking), Jane Curtin and Christopher Lloyd
tried hard--and Burstyn and in particular Lloyd were excellent in Oscar-worthy
performances if only they were not White. But at the end of the day not worth
your time.
