The only one who looks the part is Romney. But that's where his qualifications
stop. There are too many deep state members as well, happy to continue doing
anything necessary to rake it in for personal gain

In the FBI episode of the comedy Reno 911 the cops were overly impressed by the
agents. In one conversation between cops, one marveled “They talk in paragraphs
and they don't say 'like.' I say 'like' all the time.”
You could say the same thing about Republican pundits and columnists. They speak
and write in paragraphs and use “like” only when it is correct. In fact many of
them know the difference between “like”and “as” and can even construct
sentences with “as” that are not awkward. They do find it hard to avoid using
“problematic”and “cognitive,” and they say the things that we all already know.
However, they say them in paragraphs.
They push people like JD Vance (the Ohio Senate candidate with the suit who
also speaks in paragraphs) and Dan Crenshaw. In general, they like candidates
who wear suits and are slick on TV. Their candidates would never bring up the
mathematical improbability of the 2020 election results or mention the names of
Ashli Babbit or Ray Epps.
In the words of Shania Twain, “That don't impress me much.”
