When we had a melting pot, immigration was at least not evil. Now it is evil,
Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib and their close to two million constituents being
Exhibits A and B. There are probably no Trump-hating (and destroying) tech
billionaires who don't have Caribbean island refuges, or at least massive New
Zealand ranches, to escape to. The rest of us are the suckers. Remember the
movie Escape From New York? Most cities are headed that direction. It is only a
matter of time before Goldman Sachs and its ilk move to Florida, Texas or
Tennessee, leaving NYC more like Gangs of New York than New York, New York. The
sad part of this is that one of the main driving forces in destroying America,
the astronomical black out of wedlock birthrate and associated social
pathologies, is fixable, and we could once again return to a modicum of
normalcy. That will not happen, certainly not in our lifetimes, so we just
have to hold our noses and suck it up until the ole grim reaper puts us out of
our misery.

The whole idea that large scale immigration of people from very different
cultures is proving untrue in the short run. Maybe in the long run, Europe will
be thrilled with their actions. Right now it is a disaster. And approximately
50% of us think it's a great idea. Many of them are the same people who hate
the whole country and want to change to socialism and for some, communism. The
rest of the 50% seem to have voted against Trump without evaluating just what
that would mean, and are now finding out. Maybe they will come to their senses
soon, hopefully before 2022

The U.S. is the third most populous country in the world, due primarily to
out-of-control immigration, both legal and illegal, over the last 40 years or
so. There are 200 million more people living here than when we were in grade
school. It is insanity to think that our water supplies, which were precious
limited resources 100 years ago, were going to magically increase to keep pace.
But no Biden voters seem to have a clue about the collateral damage immigration
causes. I recall reading a few years ago that we had an estimated 100 million
people out of the work force who could be in it. The idea that we need any more
bodies to compete for existing resources from third world countries is too
stupid for rational debate.

built a $4 billion chip plant here in Phoenix (it's being updated right now to
the tune of another several bil). I asked one of their employees why they built
it here instead of China or Mexico, etc. He said one reason: reliable electric
power. Wind and solar don't count.
