Good thoughts. Some cities are becoming unliveable with exits accelerating.
Boston remains ok but if NY Chicago SF LA etc all crater unclear Boston can
hold up. If we move, we will take a close look at South Carolina though not
known as a research/intellectual hub, appears liveable. And possibly north FLA
St Augustine. Only casual conjecture at this point. And a state with rational
govt, not unhinged virtue signaling Progressives where free speech is allowed.

Actually, this is a golden opportunity to buy hard assets, particularly real

will continue indefinitely. Look for research university towns near
interstates within a reasonable radius of major metropolitan areas for
surefire long-term value. There are several gems near me. Charlottesville
has already been "discovered", but is still a major long-term investment
opportunity. You would be shocked at the number of classy vineyards and
breweries in the area along with UVA-related industry. In the same corridor
are Harrisonburg, VA, home of James Madison U., Lynchburg, VA, home of
Liberty U. and others, and Lexington, VA, home of Washington & Lee U. (soon
to be renamed X & Ali U, for Malcolm X and Muhammed Ali) and VMI. Too late
for us, but we could do worse than buy some cheap raw land for our grandkids.

With full control of govt, Dems will get a bailout of CA NY etc through
probably under cloak of “loans” which they have already floated. Hard to
imagine they can do State bailouts, individual $2k, Green New Deal and
infrastructure without blowing the dollar to pieces. We have Front row seats
to the revival of the Decline and Fall

This is what happens when corrupt politics is replaced with demonization
politics. Can make you pine for the good ole days. Don't forget that people,
apparently a lot of people, voted for both of them. And a lot of people
voted for Maxine Waters, Ilhan Oman, Rashida Tlaib, Raphael Warnock, I could
go on and on but I think you get the idea. Not your grandfather's Buick.
