Your new microwave sounds like it will perform like the equivalent of an ‘air
fryer oven’. As in, pretty much like a normal oven but in a smaller form.
Interesting your doctor says sweet potatoes are okay and white potatoes are
not. Sweet potatoes have around the same amount of carbs as white potatoes
(though are probably more nutrient-dense), and it’s carbs that affect your
blood glucose levels. Though it’s true sweet potatoes have a slightly lower
glycemic index.
Anyway, sounds like a Plan to see how you go with your new microwave before
making any air fryer decisions.
