Howdy Jules!!
Today is 2x weeks past my 2nd shot of the Pfizer vaccine.
This past Sunday, I figured I was close enough….and for the first time, I
ventured out with some friends of mine I’ve not spent time with in over a
year…we loaded up cameras and went to shoot some pictures around.
We stopped by and went to a gun show for a bit, and ended the day by eating out
at a restaurant.
I’ve not dined out in over a year…I’ve not been around any other humans really
(except grocery stores) in over a year.
And…it felt GREAT!!!
We wore masks when we had to, like going to/from out table in the restaurant,
but took them off when seated.
And at the show, it was a mix of people wearing and not wearing them…I wore
mine most of the time….
Anyway, it was my first taste of normalcy and freedom in over a year and
honestly, I didn’t quite know what I”d been missing….it was great.
Hope to get out and about a bit more and more…but if nothing else, gonna be fun
to run around with my friends and take our cameras out to see what we find
that’s fun.
:)
And….dining out again….ahh……next on my hit list…SUSHI

January and the 2nd due now. Geoffrey gets his this weekend but I am in
Spain and no idea when I will be back. However the doctor said I could get
it on my return.
Today the UK opened up non essential shops, hair salons etc. Restaurants are
open but only serving on outside terraces. Not much fun as freezing cold and
snowing in parts of the UK. In Spain the restaurants close at 1000 pm with
limited seating. Also bars and cafes open, max 4 to a table, but you cannot
move from province to province. Shops are all open. However it is
compulsory to wear a mask at all time (except when eating);but must put back
on when leaving the table. Get fined if caught without one. In the UK you
only have to wear a mask in stores so never felt as safe there.
What about you with the vaccine?
