Sorry - I should have used one of the pollen colour charts available
online to provide some possible answers to my question! The field
adjacent to us has a lot of ragwort in flower, and this has a yellow
pollen, so is a very likely candidate. Ivy is also flowering at the
moment, but the pollen is more orange than that of ragwort...
