Hi,
I'll not have space for keeping any swarms, but I'm happy to help out with
any swarm-catching in East Oxford if I'm around. My number is 07943 587062.

Hi all,
last year we caught and distributed at least 31 swarms. We can expect them
to begin appearing in April.
If you want swarms this year please say, stating: how many; your postcode;
and telephone number(s). These will be distributed to everyone on this
mailing list in the form of a list of who-wants-what. When a swarm appears,
the procedure is:
- (If it's already been caught by someone and is being offered to the
group) - first offered to people physically near it, and people with no
bees at all;
- (If it's been reported up a tree in a park or something) - we ring
the person nearest it who wants a swarm, and you go get it yourself.
Swarms sometimes only hang around for half an hour, so *if you don't
answer your phone we ring the next nearest person. *We sometimes leave a
voicemail saying "ring back in 5 minutes if you want this swarm" - and we
mean it.
Anyhow, let us know if you want any!
