Just had pest control chap here to get rid of a wasp's next in the wall. He
said they are inundated with requests - getting rid of 10-15 nests a day in the
West Oxon area. It's the hot weather. I noticed them by hearing the nibbling,
then looked at the wall outside. But for the sake of my bees glad to get rid of

number (by dint of calling Oxford City) and the householder was going to call
them. I felt a bit bad not doing more, he was very old and frail, and living
alone, but professional help is probably safer.
