Dear Paul,
10 hives to fill in the community beekeeping project please!
My home hove (WBC with Golden Ratio frames) is romping away.
No more lifting heavy boxes!
The secret, I learned (late in the piece), from Matt Somerville is to use deep
Dadant frames turned on their side with simply a long wooden bar screwed in on
top to give lugs to sit on the top box.
Cheers
E

Karen's right, who wants swarms?
Please let me know -
Name
Rough location (eg Wolvercote / postcode)
How many wanted
If you have NO BEES (we prioritise these)
Phone number(s)
I'll compile a list and circulate it. Note this reveals some personal info.
The system we use is - if someone has a spare swarm, we try to home it near
its origin.
Sometimes the recipient has to collect it themselves.
We sometimes charge £15 or £30 if there was a lot of bother collecting /
delivering it (some folk have no cars)
