My bees are in a National brood box with foundationless frames which have a
top wedge on which I smeared some wax to get them started. I couldn't get
similar super frames, no wedge. So I have been cutting up foundation sheets
into small starter strips, about 1cm wide. As I have been reading about
natural cell size being smaller than foundation cell size my question is
(hopefully not too stupid): Do I force the bees to build bigger cells
because of the starter strips?
