They're extremely hostile to anyone who voices an alternative opinion.
That site has *some* useful stuff but you need to treat its advice with
caution. Most of the chatter is by about 5 pompous blokes (remind you of
anyone?) who reckon that because they've done one thing for 50 years, they
know everything. For example, one lives in Finland and considers himself an
expert on British beekeeping. (Finland was outside the native range of
honeybees until recently so he has no idea what locally adapted bees really
are.) They hide behind anonymous names and act like 13 year old trolls.
Recently one became the site administrator and the forum became even more
toxic. One is a proponent of killing wild colonies, etc.
