Hi. Does anyone know how many (approx) cells one bar of foundation might
contain? I realise worker/drone would make a difference but was just trying
to estimate the likely increase in brood. I read that a queen can lay 2k
eggs per day but there would need to be the cell capacity for her to do
so...
I think my second cast have emerged as there is what I assume is cappings
debris on the floor today and as the cast hived 30th June it's about right.
I didn't see them this morning as out but daughter said noticable activity.
