They are great 95% of the time, but on those occasions that the bees are
REALLY annoyed and many attack you, some inevitably land on your legs,
crawl up and some get inside. Which is scary.
Trouders tend to be more close fitting than an all in one bee suit, making
it easier for stings to reach your skin.
What I did was get an XL suit, far too large (they do also come bigger
than that - I'm 5'8" tall, I think Mark is bigger). It may look baggy but
it is very comfortable. My previous suit was too small in some dimension
and constrained me if I bent over.
I would also highly reccommend the new ventilated style suits. In early
April - not even the hottest part of the year - I saw someone with a full
coverage cotton suit suddenly overcome by heat, they needed to go cool down
in shade and have lots of water. Ventilated mesh suits are much cooler.
I think your nearest branch of Thornes is in Windsor, if you are willing
to travel that far. You could try ringing Thornes, give them Mark's
dimensions and ask what size they reccommend.
