I generally put a little (5-10%) of my honey harvest aside as cut comb. Not
sure why - no one else I know seems keen on the cut comb! Anyhow I stored
some for a year (cos no one wanted it) and when I looked at it most was OK,
but one... well, have a look at the picture contrasting a good / bad one.
I don't know if freezing denatures honey, or some honeys. I can imagine it
might crystallise some otherwise runny ones. But if the cut comb is not
likely to be eaten immediately, it looks like freezing is no tbad advice.

This months BBKA magazine says I should, but I have not heard that before.
