Ooh nice! I went to a study day with John - what a nice man.
I had forgotten you were in Windsor not Reading!

Hi Liz,

I certainly am - I lost one colony this winter, and we have a surviving
monster bunch (they are lovely, but huge!) in a cylindrical hive made by
John Haverson.  And a tiny cast in a Warre in my neighbour's garden.
And the empty Warre is now set up ready for a swarm if one wants to come.

Lovely to hear from you.

Best wishes,
Catherine

Hi Catherine - are you still doing natural beekeeping?
Kind regards

Hi Liz and Paul,

We're still in Old Windsor at the moment, so not as close as you, but
happy to help when not working or at college.  Perhaps we could give them
"team" help together?

What advice would we give them if the colony swarms once established next
year or the year after?  I know I'm somewhat jumping the gun!!

Best wishes,
Catherine

Does Catherine Day still live near Reading?

Don't mind helping out.

We've been contacted by a primary school in Reading who want to set up a

which is like a one piece Warre. Ideal for schools: fit and forget; but if
they go to the BBKA for training they will get inappropriate advice.
