Hi Eric
Just wanted to let you know that your lovely swarm are very happy indeed in the 
alveary. We had our first peak at the weekend, which I doubt we will do again 
as they look as if they almost have comb to the bottom of it. It is fascinating 
as they have built out from the side, closest to the stone wall, rather than 
straight down as in the freedom hive. The floor was very clean, literally 
nothing on it at all. I had forgotten how thick the clumb ( clay inside and 
outside) on the wicker was, and with the thatch I hope that it will keep them 
well insulated.
