All, I spoke w Sara about rebranding Hops and Howlers in part towards a
Wethop/harvest them event.
I have a meeting with her to discuss on tuesday.
A similar event which has been sucessful is
Hopsinthepark.com in Chesterfield County Va.
Let me know any input or feedback on what direction we as a club would like
this event to go.

Caleb helped me with most of the setup. He got there after I'd unloaded and
parked your car. I've attached the only picture I took in relation to the event.
Thanks,
Jim

Hello Overmountain Brewers,
We just wrapped up a great festival - Thirsty Orange. I want to personally
thank everyone that was able to represent Overmountain Brewers at Thirsty
Orange and especially Jim King, without whom we wouldn't have everything setup
along with Steve Paulson the pourer.
Jim had our tent up and the jockey box pouring with no instructions, except
that I told him everything was in my car. These items were ready when I was
done with judging and was able to make it over to the festival. Steve Paulson
was there after stewarding the comp, and he was our ONLY pourer with an actual
ABC permit. Steve was champ serving most of all the beer all day to an adoring
public and although a few of us poured a bit, Steve stayed close by in case the
authorities came up.
Thank you Jim!
Thank you Steve!
If anyone took pictures of the event, please bring them tomorrow or sent them
to me so I can have a copy for historical/site purposes.
Tomorrow will be April's monthly meeting and you will not want to miss out on
this month's discussion. Our round tables are great way to share insight and
have your questions answered. We will recap afterwards, but it is best for you
to be there and offer your thoughts. The conversation may entice someone to
ask the very question that we all want answered! Also we will do another quick
Triangle Testing if time permits.
The survey results showed that as a homebrew club we want to brew, brew, brew!
This is great insight and so we will be discussing a collaborative brewing with
Wolf Hills. Stay tuned for details....
