Tara brought up the issue of health care as a position she didn’t see in the
LWV position statements I sent a link to earlier. Upon following up with league
members I was referred to the statement on page 2 :
CITIZEN RIGHTS
PUBLIC POLICY ON REPRODUCTIVE CHOICES.
Protect the constitutional right of privacy of the individual to make
reproductive choices.
So it’s pretty brief but provides coverage for the type of work Tara describes
as seeing the league do.
