While this erosion of federal protections has been a serious blow to
abortion access and reproductive rights, it’s not the end of the story. We
can and will still fight and make gains for reproductive freedom at the
state and local levels.
Join us for a panel hosted by the Women’s Commission of the Socialist
Party USA on Tuesday, March 8th (International Women’s Day!), from
8pm-9:30pm EST to discuss where abortion access stands and what we can do
in the states to ensure reproductive freedom for all. I’ll be joined by
some of our state-based colleagues in Maryland and Washington to discuss
efforts to hold the line, and even expand abortion access, in states across
the US. And we will definitely be discussing ways YOU can be involved and
steps you can take to ensure people can access safe abortion care, when
they need it and in the communities where they live.
