I have noticed that many "alternatives" border on much of the more
"outlawish" country, and Cash's last few albums pretty much fill the bill
in comparison to what we remember hearing from him growing up, till some
time in about the 80s, probably early 80s or late 70s. Even earlier, he did
a version of the Association's "Blisters." I love it!

"Hurt" is on the 4th "American Recordings" album, and "God's Gona Cut You
Down" is on the 5th "American Recordings" album. They were recorded from
1994 to 2006. The 4th was in 1994, and the 5th, of course, was 1996.
