Hello Linda:
I have a spare 2000 gig USB drive I could clean off and fill with my stuff and
send it to someone that is trustworthy. They could copy it off and refill it
and send it back to me. What would everybody want that I have and what’s up on
the site that I would want. Documentarys is one and classic country is
another. I have about 125 or a few talking books on mp3 format and books
downloaded from bard is good too.
My internet company wild blue only lets me have 10 gigs a month. Trying to
share what I have would be like trying to push a Elephant through a keyhole.
Let me know what you think.

Hmmm, I don’t know that Real Player is a good choice nowadays. You might be
better off with Windows Media Player. I definitely would think about having
your computer worked on given that you have Windows 7 and are having problems
installing Open Drive. Probably you haven’t tried to install any other program
lately, and I would wonder if a setting hasn’t been accidently disrupted
somehow.

Oh Travis, I’m so sorry. What version of Windows are you running? Also, are
you near to a computer repair shop? If you want a specific player like Winamp
to be your default player, I can give you instructions on how to make that
happen. Please let me know if you’re interested in that. As for running
certain internet radio stations on your computer, I’d suggest that if they have
different options for running the internet stream with different players, you
always choose your default player once you make it your default. Hope this
helps at least a little. When people put music on Dropbox, they are sharing a
specific link for the music which goes onto the internet so you can grab the
music. Believe me, there’s way too much on Open Drive to allow anyone to use
Dropbox unless you have a shared folder with a specific person for transfer of
music. Hope this makes sense.

Hi, Keneth,
Open drive is kind of like drop box but it's much easier to use. It has
folders similar to what would be on your computer but they go on the cloud. I
forgot the link you go to to install open drive but it's really easy to use
compared to sendspace or drop box. What you do is instead of cutting a file,
you copy it to the clipboard, find the music folder, hit enter on it and paste
your file into the folder. You don't have to create an account because Nancy
Shackelford already did that for us.
Hope this helps.

Hello Rose Marie
What is open drive? Is it a site somewhere or something else, I have about
6000 gigs of music, old TV and movies to share. My old 78's are on my computer
also and I can share them too. Where do I go and how is it done.

of 97 and she lived to be 14 years old.

Hi, Keneth,
I'm Rosemarie and I live in Southern California. Welcome to this great
list. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as the rest of us do.
What this list is about is sharing music on a service called open drive.
There's a variety of things up there already. There are also audio books,
movies and old TV shows. Not only do we share music but we also give each other
support when it's wanted or needed. Some people here post blindness-related
articles which are quite interesting.
Wow, that's something about all the 78's you have. What state do you live
in?

Hello list members:
I’m Kenneth Atkins and I’m new here, what is this list all about can
someone please enlighten me.
I’m 70 years old and live on a small farm out in the country where I can
keep a milk cow and a llama. I love the old time country music and have 791 78
RPM records at the last count. I keep a USONA wind up player for playing them.
I enjoy homestead crafts like making my own beer and hard cheese along with
making my own record sleeves and weaving rugs on my loom.
I also do home canning when I can find the extra food on sale.
Anybody like farming stuff.
