PRINCE'S EX OPENS UP ABOUT THE DEATH OF THEIR SON NEW YORK (AP)
Prince's ex-wife says she believes he never got over the death of his
only son. People magazine has published an excerpt from Mayte (MY'-tay)
Garcia's new book, "The Most Beautiful: My Life With Prince. Garcia
writes baby Amiir was born in 1996 with Pfeiffer syndrome type 2, a
rare genetic disorder that causes skeletal abnormalities. She says the
baby struggled to breathe and had several procedures before he died six
days later. Garcia reveals she had complications during her pregnancy
and twice the doctor suggested amniocentesis for genetic testing. She
