WOODY GUTHRIE'S IMAGE PROJECTED ON OKLAHOMA'S STATE CAPITOL OKLAHOMA
CITY (AP) The state of Oklahoma is telling an artist to keep Woody
Guthrie off the state capitol building. Oklahoma City artist Jack
Fowler projected an image of Guthrie onto tarps covering construction
work on the building on Monday. Fowler says he wanted to get people to
"shake up the powers that be. He says Guthrie would be appalled that
state lawmakers are considering taxing "car washes and funerals" while
another proposal would eliminate corporate income taxes. The agency
that oversees state property says it doesn't want the image back to
ensure the safety of the crews working on the restoration. STURGILL
SIMPSON GOES AFTER SCALPERS UNDATED (AP) Sturgill (STUR'-jil) Simpson
never had to deal much with scalpers. Then his "A Sailor's Guide To
Earth" album got nominated for the album of the year Grammy and demand
for his shows went up. Simpson writes on Facebook he's working on an
experimental ticket system to prevent scalpers from using bots to snap
up tickets and resell them at higher prices. Simpson says his tickets
will always be affordable and no trophies will ever change that. He
says fans can help by stop buying tickets from scalpers or by making
noise with their lawmakers about taking money from lobbyists who push
to keep scalping legal. TIM McGRAW EXPLAINS WHY HE CHOSE TO BE IN "THE
SHACK NEW YORK (AP) Tim McGraw says he took a role in the movie "The
Shack" because of its faith-based message, but the story should appeal
to anyone. McGraw grew up a Southern Baptist and says he has a healthy
respect for anyone's belief system, but he believes others should
respect his beliefs. He says, "That's what the world is sort of missing
a little bit. McGraw says "The Shack" has a great story to it and no
matter what your beliefs are, it makes you think. "The Shack" opens

BLOOM UNDATED (AP) Katy Perry is back on the market. She broke up with
Orlando Bloom, or, as their representatives put it, Perry and Bloom
"are taking respectful, loving space at this time. They had been dating
a little over a year. MIKE NESMITH RELEASES AUTOBIOGRAPHY NEXT MONTH
LOS ANGELES (AP) Perhaps you only know Mike Nesmith from The Monkees.
You may not know he created a TV show that played music videos two
years before MTV launched or that he won the first Grammy for video of
the year in 1981. Nesmith will tell his life story in the book
"Infinite Tuesday: An Autobiographical Riff," out April 18. He'll also
release a CD of companion music from his career called "Infinite
Tuesday: Autobiographical Riffs" on April 14. LADY GAGA REPLACES
BEYONCE AT COACHELLA INDIO, Calif. (AP) Mother Monster will replace
Mama Beyonce at Coachella. Lady Gaga will take Beyonce's headlining
slot as Beyonce sits out this year. Beyonce is pregnant with twins and
she is delaying her Coachella appearance until next year. Radiohead and
Kendrick Lamar also are headlining. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts
Festival will be held the second and third weekend in April in Indio,
