SINGER JOHN WETTON OF ASIA DIES UNDATED (AP) Asia drummer Carl Palmer
says "the world loses another musical giant" with the death of Asia
singer John Wetton. Palmer says he will "miss his talent, his sense of
humor and his infectious smile. Keyboardist Geoff Downes says Wetton's
bass playing was "revolutionary" and his voice was "from the gods.
Downes says Wetton was "a supremely intelligent man" with a "wicked
sense of humor. Wetton died yesterday of colon cancer at the age of 67.
