I do remember hearing a later version of Reelin and A-rockin and it was
pretty bad. Talk about suggestive--that version was. I thought to myself
"that doesn't sound like something Chuck Berry would do".

everyone,
I wonder if Marty especially is knowledgeable about the fact that after
'64 or so, Chuck went over to Mercury records I think it was and redid his
older tunes, and they sounded just awful to me. I was wondering if any of
you knew about this, and if you know if his new album will be a Chess
production or what? I have no idea at all of just what Chuch did in the
70's and beyond, can anyone tell me?
At the time when Marty put up the articles about Chuck, I really didn't have
a chance to read them as I wasn't feeling well, and really didn't want to
put the message in another folder as I'm really good at forgetting that I
have messages there and so forth.
