The visit to the sports doctor went just fine. She drew 10 CCs of fluid from
the back of my left knee, and 5 CCs from the front knee of my left leg. She
also injected a pain med with steroids. For now I’m pain free. But the doctor
said that this will return. So when that happens she’ll repeat the same
procedure. At the point that it fails to work, than it’s time for knee
replacement surgery. As for the right knee, since it’s not bothering me, no
reason to do anything. But the doctor said that since I have arthritis in my
left knee, more than likely I have it in my right knee.
So it’s back to work tomorrow, and it feels so good to be able to walk again.
